About Us
In math, every new concept builds upon older concepts; therefore, it is important for students to work hard to learn all concepts. I challenge each student to achieve his/her fullest potential throughout the year. I will give them my best; I expect no less from them. Students are encouraged to ask questions, as are parents.
In addition to the standards set by the state of Tennessee and Shelby County Schools, the following are my personal goals: 1. To provide students with a foundation of topics necessary for Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus, or other college math course. 2. To provide students with a level of instruction to better prepare them for entry in college math or other post-secondary math. 3. To develop confidence and self-assurance. |
